It's the name of our website, and here's how it came about.  People look at our name and wonder how to pronounce it.  We tell them, "Like a wad of paper, or a wad of gum."  But who wants to be associated with those things?  As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we are striving to become an eternal family and live in the Celestial Kingdom.  Since celestial is associated with the sun, it seemed an approprate title.

The Waud Family began in 1999 when Don and Janna blended their families together.  Though "the boys" never lived with us full time, they came for frequent visits.  Blake now lives in Michigan, and Aaron is serving a full-time mission for the Church in Texas.  Don works full-time and Janna is a full-time student - each also a full-time parent.  Whew!  As if that weren't enough, there are many activities we are each involved in, like the Boy Scouts, and humanitarian aid efforts.
